About Mini Labradoodles

The Mini Labradoodle is an affectionate and loyal companion who loves to play and be near their owner. F1 Generation 

The F1 generation is the result of breeding a purebred Labrador Retriever with a purebred Toy or Miniature Poodle. These pups typically have hair coats, but there can be quite a bit of inconsistency within a litter in terms of both appearance and coat type.

F1B Generation 

The F1B generation results from breeding an F1 Mini Labradoodle back to a purebred Toy or Miniature Poodle. This hybrid cross typically produces puppies with either hair, fleece, or wool coats—and again, there can be quite a bit of variation even within one litter. F2 Generation

In 1988, Wally Cochran and his team had been asked to create a new breed that was smart and gentle but also hypoallergenic—which meant no shedding fur or dander that could cause allergic reactions. They accomplished this by crossing two different breeds; Toy or Miniature Poodles and Labrador Retrievers.
